Each year Hordle Parish Council is required to complete and submit to its external auditor, an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR). Once the return has been approved by the External Auditor, it is published on the Council’s website.
The Annual Return includes the Annual Governance Statement and Accounting Statements which have been subject to both Internal and External Audit. The Internal Audit is performed by Fair Account and the External Audit is performed by BDO LLP. The External Auditor’s Report and Statement form part of the Annual Return.
