Acacia Kickabout

The playpark at Acacia Kickabout (between the Triangle and Acacia Road in Hordle) is the newest addition to the facilities in the parish, having been competed in September 2021.  The equipment has been selected in consultation with the children from Hordle Primary School and includes a clamber stack, wobble balance board, balance beam and stepping logs.  It has been designed to offer primary-aged children a range of balancing, agility and climbing activities.  The kit is made from sustainable Radiata Pine and has been designed to blend with the natural environment of the area.  We hope the children of the parish have a lot of fun using it!

The Parish Council has worked hard to open up the area for use by the residents of the parish, establishing to date, rustic seating around the site, bench and picnic bench at the Dudley Avenue/ car park entrance, a wild flower meadow and a regular grass cutting regime to aid walking.
