Acacia Open Space

The Parish Council would like to thank the children from Hordle Primary School who came to help plant the willow dome and tunnels. They all worked very hard planting and weaving the whips and moving wood chip down the site to form a path through the structure. The children also looked at pictures of different types of play equipment and told us what type they preferred.

Thanks also to New Forest National Park ranger and the Brockenhurst College student who helped on the day and to the NPA and NFDC for items they provided for the children.

Do go and have a look at the willow tunnel and watch it grow and develop. Play equipment will be installed in due course.
