Golden Hill Woodland

The Parish Council are currently looking at a project to improve Golden Hill Woodland both for public access and for nature conservation. This is an important area which could be enhanced to improve a better habitat for animals and plants. A site survey needs to take place and we have several ideas on how to effect change to this area. Could you spare some time to help with this?

Come and find out more at the Community cafe on Saturday 19 October at the Pavilion, Vaggs Lane, Hordle at 10am.

We are hoping to set up working groups to

  • undertake surveys,

  • identify plants

  • remove non native species and help to re establish glades.

Do you fancy bramble bashing - we would love to see you on the 19th. Can't make that date but still want to be involved - call the Parish Office on 01425-611119 or email admin@hordleparishcouncil.gov.uk
