Parish Councillors are asking  residents of Hordle Parish (villages of Tiptoe, Hordle and  Everton ) do you consider Hordle to be an attractive place to live and what could make it better?

The Parish Council have plans to improve the visual appearance of the Parish with a number of projects including bulb planting , new benches, village gateway signs and play facilities at the Acacia Open Space.

They are planning to discuss these plans with residents at the Annual Parish Assembly on

Tuesday 24 April at 7.30 in the Pavilion, Vaggs Lane, Hordle.

If you live in Tiptoe, Hordle or Everton this is your chance to let the Parish Council know what is important to you and what your priorities are for the Parish. The Parish Council need to hear your views to ensure they are spending money on the right things in the right places. Please come along , talk to us and join us in a glass of wine and some cheese.

Call for by election  

 a casual vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor for the Hordle Parish Council (Hordle Ward).
 
If by 17 April 2018,  a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer, New Forest District Council, Appletree Court, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, SO43 7PA by TEN electors for the Ward, an election will be held to fill the vacancy.

 If no request for an election is received the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
 
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 21 June 2018.

Hordle Parish Council 

Hordle Parish Council have produced a local Emergency Plan. This plan has been produced by the Parish Council and will sit alongside and complement the District and County Plan. It can be triggered in the unlikely event of a major event in the area or if there is a more localised emergency. Please click on the icon below to see the public part of the document.
